When The Angels Sing & Under My Thumb

[gotXyourXcancer]

I think these versions they did on the acoustic christmas show are fuckin amazing...especially "Under My Thumb". Anyone think Ness has been watchin some Rolling Stones Four Flicks dvd's??? The intro kinda had a "Gimme Shelter" sorta feel...fuckin awesome.

I've heard a lot of people complaining about these but I hope they do both these songs like this all the time from now on. Maybe spice up some more old ones like this, too.

SOCIAL D NEEDS TO START PLAYING "CROWN OF THORNS" LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Those songs were amazing.

"Crown Of Thorns" is one of my all time favorite songs. I turn it up to 11.

I WISH THEY WOULD PLAY ANY OF THESE SONGS...

Through These Eyes
Gotta Know The Rules
Down Here With The Rest Of Us
Untitled
Dear Lover
I Was Wrong

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY WLWHWT PEICES ARE RARELY PLAYED? THESE ARE GREAT SONGS.
GIVE THEM LIFE ONCE MORE...
AND I BELIEVE THEY WOULD FIT W/ THE LATEST SONGS THAT ARE BEING PLAYED LIVE...

I KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO VISIT/POST HERE THAT SPEAK W/MIKE REGULARLY, WHATS THE STORY?
CAN WE GET MORE WLWHWHITETRASH IN 2005?

I wouldn't mind hearing untitled or crown of thorns live, but I am pretty happy with the set they play now. I would like to have Moral Threat added as a standard instead.

I am a big fan of music I can relate to, since I'm still quite self destructive and not in any state of mind to settle down and start a family, some of the songs on the new album and "I was wrong" etc don't really strike a chord with me.

I think i would like to see social d have a special old school night where they the whole set was all old school song they rarely play. like hour of darkness, its the law, anti fashion, moral threat, you know all the stuff from the 80's. and you they would get creative with the songs and make them sound totally new. that would be killer.

It's better they pick the songs then me, I couldn't pick a favorite. I do agree I'd like to hear more white light! It really doesn't matter to me what they play, the songs from the 80's, white light or Sex Love RnR...it all strikes a chord with me!

ya know, i was watching various live social distortion shows recorded over the past 20 years. The set list is different most of the time but One thing you can always count on is "the jump" forever immortalized on the SBHH cover.......and it still looks pretty fuckin cool.

"SWBHH" is my all time favorite album cover.

AC/DC "If You Want Blood You Got It" is 2nd.
